ODEMWINGIE HATARINI KUIKOSA ARSENAL
Nigeria forward, Peter Odemwingie, will
undergo a late fitness test as Stoke City
prepare to play hosts to Barclays Premier
League title contenders, Arsenal, this Saturday.
The 32-year-old striker is reported to have
suffered a calf injury and could miss out of
Stoke's game against Arsenal at the Britannia
Stadium.
Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes, has however
disclosed that Odemwingie could still make the
squad after suffering "a slight (calf) problem."
"Peter has a slight problem with his calf so we
will have to check that tomorrow (Saturday),"
Stoke Sentinel quoted Hughes as saying.
Odemwingie has started all five league matches
for Stoke City since he completed a shock
move from Cardiff City in January.
He has featured in league matches against
Sunderland, Manchester United, Southampton,
Swansea and Manchester City since joining The
Potters.
In spite of the doubts hovering on
Odemwingie's participation in the game against
Arsenal, he has been named in a 20-man Stoke
City provisional squad for Saturday's league
clash.
