Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will be producing and directing a film titled "Shivay." This will be his second directorial venture.
The title of the movie is derived from the Sanskrit chant "Om Namah Shivay." The actor also sports these words as a tattoo on his chest.
Devgn will play the main character in the film, which will be an action movie shot primarily in Mumbai. It is expected to go on floors next year. Devgn is creating a script for the film with a team of writers.
The movie will be presented by Eros International. A source said, "Ajay and Eros have a great working equation since the days of SOS [Son of Sardar, a movie by Eros starring Devgn], which despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan amassed nearly Rs 140 crore. Now, they are looking forward to working together on Shivay."
