MAJERAHA KATIKA TIMU ZA ARSENAL NA ASTON VILLA


Aston Villa
Ron Vlaar - The centre-back missed the loss to Sheffield United in the FA Cup with a calf injury, and will be subjected to a late fitness test ahead of tonight's game, rated currently at 50/50.
Nathan Baker - Baker is struggling with a hamstring injury and is listed as a doubt but like Vlaar will under-go a fitness test prior to kick-off.
Gabriel Agbonlahor - Key man Agbonlahor is reported by The BBC to have shake off a minor knock and is fit to start against the Gunners.
Brad Guzan - Paul Lambert confirmed that first choice goalkeeper Brad Guzan will be fit, during his Friday press conference, having missed training with a minor niggle.
Longer-term absentees: Jonas Okore, Charles N'Zogbia, Joe Bennett, Chris Herd, Libor Kozak.
Arsenal
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - The Arsenal winger is in the frame to feature for the first time since the very first day of the season, against the same opponent. Chamberlain played 48 minutes of under-21 football on Thursday and is expected to make the bench.
Mesut Ozil - Mesut Ozil is fully fit, coming off the bench in the FA Cup match with Tottenham a week ago.
Olivier Giroud - Olivier Giroud has not yet featured in 2014 due to an ankle injury, but he has returned to training and is set to start against Villa.
Kieran Gibbs - The left-back returns to the squad with Arsene Wenger admitting he has a 'little chance' to feature. Nacho Monreal is expected to start.
Aaron Ramsey - Arsene Wenger indicated on Thursday the Welshman could have a surprise return and make the bench. The Frenchman has since stated Ramsey would 'probably not' be included, who will instead hope to return to the squad against Fulham next weekend.
Thomas Vermaelen - Belgian defender Thomas Vermaelen had a knee scan at the end of last week and has been ruled out of the fixture. He will also aim to return in a week's time.
Longer-term absentees: Yaya Sanogo, Abou Diaby, Theo Walcott, Nicklas Bendtner.
