Daniel Bryan and CM Punk will have a lot to contend with at Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
The former WWE Champions will partake in three-on-one handicap matches at the weapon-filled gala in mid-December, with Bryan fighting the Wyatt Family and Punk clashing with the Shield.
Punk kicked off Monday Night Raw by suggesting that his attack at the hands of the Shield seven days previously, which included a vicious spear from Roman Reigns, had been sanctioned by The Authority.
Stephanie McMahon and Kane denied that claim and, after the black-clad rebels appeared to seemingly inflict more pain on the Second City Saint, announced that Punk would combat Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in Houston.
Bryan, meanwhile, saw his name inked into the TLC match listing after he defeated one third of the Wyatt Family - Erick Rowan - via a roll-up pinfall and was addressed by the backwoods barbarians' leader Bray Wyatt on the TitanTron.
The Tables, Ladders and Chairs main event, though, will see John Cena and Randy Orton battle for possession of the World Heavyweight and WWE Titles.
Dropped
But the fisticuffs are not being put off until December 15 as, a week after Orton clocked Cena with his WWE Championship, the Cenation Leader dropped the Viper through a table during their pair's official contract signing.
Damien Sandow will also wrestle for gold in Houston - Big E Langston's Intercontinental Title to be precise - following his triumph over Dolph Ziggler in a number one contender's match which was rubberstamped by "Your Welcome".
There was also a series of high-octane tag-team bouts on Raw, with The Shield warming up for Punk by beating Big Show, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, and The Real Americans knocking off the Prime Time Players.
Xavier Woods and R-Truth bested Brodus Clay and Tensai - before the Tons of Funk grapplers shared some post-match animosity - and The Miz turned on Kofi Kingston - again - after they had lost to former Paul Heyman disciples, Ryback and Curtis Axel.
Elsewhere, Natalya, and The Bella Twins overcame Summer Rae, AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka in a Divas dust-up, while Mark Henry flattened Fandango and Alberto Del Rio suffered a shock loss to fellow
